Good question. From fights I've watched of Mr. Aizawa, I've observed he just needs to look at the person. Like when the students had to battle their teachers as a final exam. He just looked at Shoto and Momo to erase their quirks. So yes, I think you may be thinking about somebody else. But not Shinso either. He just needs somebody to answer his question out loud for his quirk to work. I, too, mix up different people's quirks sometimes, & have to look it up. I just recently started to watch MHA, so it's new to me. I've been a fan of X Men for years. Creating scripts & animation is a new passion for me. I'm basing my AU on the TV shows like X Men Evolution or X Men: the Animated Series. Both really good shows, in my opinion. Both on RUclips or Disney+.
